Teenage and social issue

I feel that the closest issue that reflects on both the teenage and social part of most people lives will be the winning of the bid to Youth Olympics 2010. The road for Singapore from starting the bid for the first Youth Olympics 2010 to winning the bid for it is actually quite rough.

There were 9 countries in total bidding to host the Youth Olympics. Although not all of them were strong opponents, Moscow and Athens were two of the much stronger ones. Athens had hosted a summer Olympic, a Olympic, and seven IOC sessions, proving to be the most experienced country. Moscow had been rated by the IOC as the top country, the only one to have surpassed Singapore. Furthermore, Singapore Sports Hub is expected to be completed in 2011, but Singapore decided to carry out with the bid.

However, I felt that Singapore's bid for 2010 Youth Olympics is rather good. There is a good plan with good choosing of venues to hold sport events. I personally do not think that with Singapore hosting 2010 Youth Olympics will affect most of us, but however, it will affect all these teenage sportspeople.

Overall, I feel that Singapore as the host for 2010 Youth Olympics will bring forward Singapore's economy as well as bring Singapore to the international stage. Also, this proves that being small has nothing to do with being incapable.
